Ferries are a big part of getting around Kragerø and its surrounding islands. They’re reliable, scenic, and very much part of the experience. There are scheduled passenger and vehicle ferries serving the Kragerø archipelago, connecting the mainland with numerous islands

TAXI BOATS

Taxi boats are a flexible and very “Kragerø” way to travel between the town and the islands. Taxi boats wait at the pier next to the ferry terminal when not on trips. We recommend you book in advance as you would a local taxi. Do be advised that taxi boats are not cheap in Kragerø, but can be great with big groups, so make sure you enquire about the price before you depart.
